How long does a custom piece take?

Build time is typically 8–14 weeks after design approval and deposit. Larger or more complex pieces may take a little longer. Terms are 50% to start and 50% on completion.

What woods are available for live edge tables?

Walnut, white oak, maple, spalted maple, parota, and ash, with other species as a custom request. Slabs come from local Minnesota sawyers.

What sizes can I order?

Lengths from 72 to 120 inches, approximate widths from 36 to 48 inches, and dining (30"), counter (36"), or bar (42") height. Live edge widths vary; a ~42 inch table may vary by 3 inches or more, and this is listed on your quote.

Can I pick my own slab?

Yes. All live edge tables are unique. After you request a quote you select your specific slab set, and shop visits to look at slabs are available by appointment.

Can I request something the designer doesn't offer?

Yes. Adam builds fully custom pieces, including other sizes, layouts, woods, or hardware. Choose "Custom request" or "Something else?" in the live edge table designer, or add notes, then send your design through the quote form at https://fourfields.net/table-design-quote/. The designer price is a ballpark estimate only; Adam confirms with a written quote.

What area do you serve and do you deliver?

Four Fields Furniture serves Minneapolis, St. Paul, and the Twin Cities suburbs. Furniture is handcrafted in our Minnesota shop, and we deliver and set it up directly in your home. Workshop visits are by appointment.

Live edge slabs from local Minnesota sawyers, built by hand. Every slab is one of a kind; choose your options and see a ballpark price.

All live edge tables are unique. We will need to select slabs from the sawmill once you request a quote. You will be able to select your specific slab set for your table. This designer is intended to give ballpark pricing only.

Flat black powder coated steel. 2″ legs are standard; 2×3″ legs add $150. Additional powder coat colors are available.
